Kernow Learning seeks a Cook in Charge to lead the kitchen team at Charlestown Primary School, preparing healthy meals for hundreds of children across three Kernow Learning schools in Cornwall. The role requires 37 hours per week over 38.6 weeks including holiday time for cleaning and prep work.

You will ensure meals are nutritious, well-balanced and enjoyed by pupils, with DBS checks required and safeguarding of children a priority. This is not a Cornwall Council vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead our school kitchen team to deliver high-quality, healthy lunches for hundreds of children across three Kernow Learning schools.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing and prepared to the highest standards.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations for Charlestown Primary School and support during holidays for cleaning and prep work.
