Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. is assisting a well-established Isleworth practice in recruiting a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (Head RVN). This leadership role involves hands-on nursing while directing the nursing team to uphold exceptional patient care and drive nurse-led services.

The position offers a competitive salary DOE, a 1,000 welcome bonus, full-time hours (40 per week) and a comprehensive benefits package, with CPD support and strong career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

RCVS registered veterinary nurse with leadership experience.
Experience with Schedule 3 procedures preferred.
Strong communication and mentoring skills required.
Commitment to clinical excellence and team development.

Responsibilities

Leading and developing the nursing team.
Managing nurse clinics and Schedule 3 procedures.
Supporting consultations, surgeries and inpatient care.
Monitoring anaesthesia and overseeing patient recovery.
Managing admissions, discharges and medication dispensing.
Driving clinical standards and regulatory compliance.
Coaching and mentoring colleagues.
