We are recruiting for a School Head Pastry Chef

About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join the prestigious team at a prestigious school in Buckinghamshire. This role offers the chance to showcase your pastry skills in a stunning environment, working with a supportive team to create exceptional desserts and baked goods for students, staff, and special events. Due to the challenging location of the prestigious school in Buckinghamshire, candidates must either drive or have their own mode of transport to reach the location.

40 hours a week mainly Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completing inventories and food requisitions.
  • Running all areas of the school pastry section.
  • Managing and training kitchen staff.
  • Supervising the production of pastries and desserts for service and functions.
  • Ensuring food quality according to department standards and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with the Holroyd Howe standards.

Qualifications:

Must be able to demonstrate extensive Pastry Chef experience, ideally within contract catering or other high-profile, high-volume operations.
