About the hotel and role:

This stunning hotel in a semi-rural area is recruiting a Head Pastry Chef to oversee the pastry section in a high-quality, modern kitchen. The hotel features a multi-rosette restaurant, brasserie, afternoon teas, room service, and events, making it a vibrant workplace and a great addition to any CV.

Candidate requirements:
  1. A keen eye for detail and passion for pastry
  2. Experience leading a dedicated pastry section
  3. Experience in a fresh food-led kitchen, such as gastro, restaurant, or hotel, at least at 2 rosette level
  4. Experience working in a busy, creative environment
  5. A character that inspires and enthuses others, with no shouty chefs
  6. Experience creating modern, exciting dishes and menus, with knowledge of local ingredients and trends
  7. Understanding of latest H&S regulations and systems
