Job description

Head Operators (3 Positions) - Large-Scale Farm & Anaerobic Digester

We are seeking three experienced head operators for a large farm covering 2000 - 3500 acres, which includes a mixture of beet, maize, and cereal crops, supporting our anaerobic digester plant.

1. Responsibilities include:
2. Digestate and manure application
3. Primary and secondary cultivations
4. Drilling
5. Spraying
6. Forage harvesting
7. Beet harvesting
8. Additional farm and digester field duties as required

Equipment and Machinery:

Operate high-horsepower machinery including Case Quadtracs (4), Pumas (5), 4220 Fastracs (4), Rowtracs, Magnums, 9900 Forager, Holmer Beet Harvester, Horsch VT Sprayer, Bunning Spreaders, 24m Umbilical setup, various cultivators, ploughs, subsoilers, and other implements.

Housing Options: Choice of three properties valued at approximately £1 million, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Options include a new barn conversion, a family house with an outdoor pool, and a historic gatehouse, all within 1 mile of the farm. Paddock available if needed.
