We’re looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our Fresca Finance team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, the purpose of this role is to manage and oversee the financial accounting and reporting for the head office. This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, managing intercompany transactions, and providing support for budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. The Head Office Accountant will work closely with the Group finance team & Fresca department heads to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
You will be responsible for driving process improvements and initiatives that positively influence the efficiency and function of the finance team and the wider businesses. You will manage intercompany transactions, ensuring that transactions between head office and subsidiaries are properly recorded, reconciled, and aligned with group financial policies, ensuring any discrepancies between head office and other group entities are resolved.
It will be under your remit to ensure the preparation, completeness, and timeliness of accurate financial information to meet external stakeholder deadlines; including but not limited to: VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory filings for the head office. You will also provide support for internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries, ensuring that accounting practices and internal controls are in line with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.
