Job summary

British Transport Police is seeking a Head of Wellbeing to lead a nationwide wellbeing strategy across 5,000+ employees. You will direct a dedicated wellbeing team, manage major programmes and partnerships, and provide strategic direction during complex incidents.

Qualifications

• A Level 7 qualification in wellbeing, health, HR or related discipline with substantial leadership experience.
• Significant expertise in employee wellbeing, mental health, psychological risk management and organisational wellbeing strategies.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and build credibility with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate BTP's organisation-wide wellbeing strategy.
• Lead the Wellbeing Team, Peer Support Network and TRiM framework to ensure consistent wellbeing support.
• Advise senior leaders on psychological risk, employee wellbeing, trauma support and resilience.
• Build partnerships with national policing bodies and external providers to drive best practice.
