Job Opportunity: Head of Wellbeing Services

We have a new opportunity available to lead as Head of Wellbeing Services based at our Head Office in Warrington, Cheshire, WA2 7JB.

The postholder will manage our Psychological Wellbeing Service and Open Door service. Please see the detailed descriptions of these services below.

Salary and Hours

Salary: £57,742 per annum

Weekly Hours: 39

Responsibilities

The role involves expanding our Wellbeing services nationally, working with Integrated Care Boards to develop preventative psychological support models, and offering services to paying clients.

We seek an engaging leader to oversee our Wellbeing Team, including IAPT Leads, ensuring implementation of management policies, and advising non-clinical managers on clinical matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing specialist psychological oversight of therapy services.
  • Developing new wellbeing intervention models.
  • Supervising and managing practitioners and student counsellors.
  • Contributing to audit, research, policy, and service development.
  • Delivering training in psychological therapies for staff.
  • Collaborating with the Associate Director to grow our wellbeing offerings geographically.

Travel throughout the area of operations will be required.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a professional qualification as a Registered Nurse at Band 8a or above, or a recognized qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Experience in leading clinical responses to senior leaders, boards, and external commissioners is essential. Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
