Ramboll is seeking a seasoned Head of Vertical Transportation to lead and grow our VT team within the Buildings Advisory & Consultancy group in the UK. You will drive the strategic direction, develop client relationships, and lead bid activities for large multi-disciplinary projects.

The role demands extensive consultancy experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record in work winning and delivering complex assignments.

• Extensive consultancy sector experience and a strong track record in delivering projects.
• Proven success in work winning, client care, and generating repeat business.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing resource needs.
• Robust network of client relationships and ability to develop new opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Instil purpose and set the direction for the Vertical Transportation team and lead by example.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Vertical Transportation team in line with Ramboll's national strategy.
• Build a culture of openness, inclusion, and continuous development within the team.
• Foster collaboration across business units and the wider Ramboll organisation.
• Lead work winning, business development, and client presentations.
• Maintain a strong professional image and act as a trusted client contact.
• Lead in preparing competitive bids and proposals to secure projects.
