H&P Executive Search has been exclusively mandated by an ambitious mid-market private equity fund to appoint a Head of Value Creation. This newly created role presents a rare opportunity to shape and lead the value creation function from the ground up, supporting a high-performing portfolio of technology and tech-enabled industrial businesses driving the energy transition.

About the Role:

As a key member of the team, you’ll be embedded across the investment lifecycle - from diligence to post-acquisition growth. Responsibilities include:

• Leading technology and commercial due diligence for potential investments
• Working closely with both internal stakeholders and portfolio company leadership
• Designing and implement tailored value creation strategies for software-heavy businesses
• Bridging the gap between deal execution and operational excellence

What You Bring:

We’re looking for a commercially driven operator or strategist with:

• A background in value creation, operating roles, or tech-enabled transformation- ideally within or alongside private equity environments
• A strong understanding of software strategy and scaling, preferably in the context of energy or industrial technology
• Experience and interpersonal skills to liaise with senior leaders and drive tangible value and growth
