Job Title: Technical Infrastructure Lead
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, implement, operate, and manage the UK's technical infrastructure. This role is a key part of the technology leadership team, responsible for architecting and delivering solutions that align with the broader strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units, operational teams, and central functions to implement the organization's technology strategy.
- Lead the design, development, operation, and management of the UK IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Play a key leadership role in the UK's technology team, overseeing IT function management.
- Contribute to the global architecture team, ensuring accountability for specific areas of technology, including collaboration tools and infrastructure such as Azure AD, M365, intranets, and other shared global applications.
- Lead and manage the UK technical infrastructure team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure the security and resilience of UK technology operations in collaboration with the cybersecurity team.
- Oversee the delivery of UK-based technology elements within global projects.
- Manage third-line technology resources for the UK.
- Support technology-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence and cost analysis to post-merger integration and implementation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality assurance of technology designs and operations through active participation in governance and security review processes.
- Oversee and contribute to the change control process, participating in the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
- Work closely with industry partners, vendors, and the wider technology ecosystem to leverage external expertise and best practices.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Progress in harmonizing back-office systems, ensuring streamlined and consolidated IT environments (e.g., M&A post-deal technology integration, migration to unified platforms, Azure AD and M365 consolidation).
- Achievement of business-as-usual (BAU) technology service levels, measured against agreed SLAs.
- Efficient execution of priority initiatives, ensuring timely resolution of high-priority (P0, P1, P2) issues as per the technology roadmap.
- Positive staff feedback and engagement, measured using Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
- Effective operation of technology services that support digital client experiences.
- Implementation of automation and efficiency-driven solutions, supporting business process optimization.
