Job Description:

Head of UK Policy (Responsible Investment, Climate Change focused Charity, Hybrid in London)

Location: Hybrid in London, once a week

Salary: £59,000-£64,500 per annum

Civitas Recruitment is working with a charity promoting responsible investment, focused on climate change, biodiversity, and workforce issues. The role involves leading UK policy efforts to influence regulation for a responsible financial sector, working closely with research, engagement, and networks to amplify impact. This full-time, permanent position is hybrid in London.

Who are we looking for?

Candidates should have substantial experience in UK policy or public affairs, with a strong understanding of UK policymaking and a proven record of influencing public policy and engaging with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders. Knowledge of responsible investment or financial/sustainability regulation is preferred. Experience leading policy advocacy strategies within campaigning or civil society organizations is essential. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills are required. Existing relationships within the UK sustainable finance ecosystem are advantageous but not essential.
