Head of UK Policy (Responsible Investment, Climate Change focused Charity, Hybrid in London)

Location: Hybrid in London, once a week

Salary: £59,000-£64,500 per annum

Civitas Recruitment is working with a charity promoting responsible investment. The charity aims to set high standards for responsible investment and drive global adoption. Focus areas include climate change, biodiversity, and workforce issues. The role of Head of UK Policy involves leading a team to influence regulation towards a responsible financial sector. You will collaborate with research, engagement, and network teams to amplify impact. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role in London.

Who are we looking for?

Candidates should have substantial UK policy or public affairs experience, understanding of UK policymaking, and a proven record of influencing UK policy and engaging with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders. Knowledge of responsible investment and financial or sustainability regulation is desired. Leadership and team management skills are essential, including supporting colleagues’ development. Strong communication skills for drafting policy documents and representing the organization are required. Existing relationships in the UK sustainable finance or regulatory ecosystem are advantageous but not necessary.
