Well-established and respected Destination Management company is seeking a Head of Design to curate itineraries for MICE Groups. As Head of Travel Design, you'll work closely with the MICE sales team to develop compelling, bespoke proposals that win business. You'll need a deep knowledge of MICE product and destinations, and a creative mindset that brings client briefs to life with flair, precision, and commercial savvy. With a starting salary of circa £35k pa - £40k pa dependent on experience, plus additional benefits and being part of a great DMC, you can forge a long term career, this is a great move for you if you have two years within a similar role. Ideally office based for probation in Edinburgh, then hybrid, there is scope for more flexibility dependent on your experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Design detailed, engaging proposals that align with client objectives and budgets
* Source innovative product and experiences across the UK and Ireland
* Collaborate closely with sales to ensure proposals are strategic and competitive
* Work to tight deadlines without sacrificing quality or creativity
* Stay up to date with the latest MICE trends and supplier developments

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years' experience in the operations of MICE Groups within the Inbound Tours Sector, with excellent product knowledge. Your MICE experience must ideally be within the UK or Ireland. You will be a natural storyteller with excellent written communication skills. You will have demonstrated success in producing proposals that convert to confirmed business. In addition to English, if you are able to converse in: Spanish, Portuguese or French that would be an additional bonus.

THE PACKAGE:
With a starting salary of circa £35k - £40k pa DOE this is a great opportunity to play a vital role in creating unforgettable events/experiences for a diverse clientele. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment where your creativity is valued. This is a permanent full-time role located in Edinburgh, hybrid/flexible working after training and probation (potentially negotiable on flexibility dependent on experience).
