We have an exciting opportunity for a The Head of Transformation Delivery (Health) to join the UK Health team, in Insurance, Wealth & Retirement (IWR)

The role is pivotal to realising the future of the Aviva Health business, shaping and transforming our operating model for the future as we embark on an end-to-end transformation of our platforms. The role holder responsible for operating a strong and effective risk and control framework across several key areas of potential risk and conduct exposure.

As the Head of Transformation Delivery (Health) your focus will be focused on the execution ofHealth Modernisation programme to ensure quantifiable target cost, digital, and growth benefits are realised. This role leads the programme delivery and subject matter experts across Health creating an environment where our people have the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to deliver our customer ambition, and which meets regulatory expectations and industry best practice.

The role is a highly visible from a leadership perspective both within Health and across the wider IWR business and provides a role model for Aviva values in action with the role holder is responsible for a c.£100 million Health Modernisation programme.

A bit about the job:

As the Head of Transformation Delivery (Health) you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the delivery of the c.£100 million Health Modernisation programme through to 2027 meets the defined business needs and with quantifiable benefits to be achieved
  • Develop scalable, robust operating models to support and implement change, alongside delivering optimal return on multi-million-pound investment, prioritising across financial, customer and regulatory needs
  • Measurable customer outcomes demonstrating positive impact to customer value through alignment to Customer Principles
  • Manage and resolve complex inter-connected sources of transformation, technology, organisation, and operations, with complex problem solving where required
  • Communication/Stakeholder influence at all levels from front line users of deliverables to the Health SLT and IWR leadership team

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of the Insurance, wealth and retirement sectors, strategic development, and transformation.
  • Extensive Risk and Issue Management skills
  • Senior level influencing, across multiple parts of the organisation with relationship management and consulting
  • Proven track record of successful delivery in a complex business environment within financial services
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working with multiple stakeholders to help bring the Health Modernisation programme to delivery
  • Strong understanding of the UK Life / Health regulatory, legal, and business risk implications to ensure transformation activity and outcomes support this
