Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Head of Transformation and Change Risk and Business Partner to provide Group Transformation and Change risk management expertise and act as a business partner to the Transformation Office, Group Change, and other Enterprise-wide Change functions. The role involves acting as the technical expert on Transformation and Change Risk within the Group-wide oversight team, ensuring alignment with requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining relevant Change Risk frameworks and policies.
- Providing or coordinating independent views and opinions to senior management on all change and transformation risk matters.
- Building strong relationships with other 2nd line teams including Group Risk, Risk Operations, Advisory, business partners, and assurance.
- Role modeling the requirements of the risk governance structure by escalating material risk profile changes to senior leadership in a timely manner.
- Keeping abreast of legal, regulatory, and policy changes; assessing impacts; and ensuring compliance and implementation.
- Ensuring the 1st line change and transformation teams understand and embed risk policies and controls.
- Promoting a positive risk culture across the Transformation and Change Office.
- Managing employee matters, ensuring adherence to policies, and maximizing business performance.
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Experience in large, complex transformation/change projects within the financial sector, providing SME advice, oversight, and monitoring.
- Design and implementation of change risk frameworks and effective risk management practices.
- Knowledge of the financial services marketplace, products, services, and regulatory environment.
- Strong understanding of control design, including IT and digital systems.
- Ability to manage change risk in line with risk appetite.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including at senior levels.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Problem-solving skills and clear communication of risks and issues.
- Good presentation, communication, and reporting skills.
