NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is seeking a Senior Manager for Transaction Services within the Primary Care Division. The role involves strategic leadership, managing transformational projects, and fostering stakeholder relationships in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in modernization initiatives and be adept at navigating complex systems within the NHS.
We operate from bases across Wales and have implemented agile working. You will be asked to attend your contractual base as required. Depending on your role, travel throughout Wales may be necessary, along with utilizing our technological solutions to develop, lead, and support the service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior manager to lead, shape, and influence our Transaction Services team within the Primary Care Division.
You will strategically lead the Transaction team in managing ongoing delivery and transformational development, influenced by NHS Wales Health Boards, Primary Care Contractors, and Welsh Government.
We are seeking an experienced senior manager with a proven track record of delivering modernization and transformation projects across complex environments. You should possess the gravitas and energy to advise and influence colleagues and stakeholders at the highest levels within the NHS in Wales, Welsh Government, and other organizations. Most importantly, you will have the appetite to steer and lead the team through exciting times as our services continue to grow. As a key member of the Primary Care Services Senior Management Team, you should have experience working in complex, system-wide, and politically sensitive environments, demonstrating an inspiring and inclusive leadership style.
This role involves setting and delivering the strategic agenda for the division, aligned with the overall Shared Services vision to become a world-class organization.
Specifically, you will develop and implement the modernization agenda for PCS, providing a robust and standardized environment to enable staff success and serving as the prime link between PCS and its external customer and stakeholder communities.
You will engage directly with stakeholders, building professional relationships, and ensuring high-quality communication that promotes proactive service improvement.
