Director - Front & Middle Office Trading & Operations

The Opportunity:

We’re partnering with a fast-growing regulatory advisory firm to hire a Director-level specialist to lead their Transaction Reporting practice. This is a high-impact role with the mandate to drive growth, shape the service line, and build a market-leading offering from the front.

You’ll play a pivotal role in scaling the business – combining delivery expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership to take this practice to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the SME for all matters related to Transaction Reporting (EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, etc.)
• Lead client engagements across Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions
• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Transaction Reporting practice
• Build and manage a high-performing team of regulatory consultants
• Maintain strong relationships with key regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders
• Work closely with senior leadership on overall business growth and direction

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven track record leading Transaction Reporting functions, either in consulting, advisory, or in-house at a financial institution
• Deep SME knowledge across major reporting regimes (EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, etc.)
• Strong commercial mindset – ability to generate new business and deepen client relationships
• Experience scaling teams or business units within a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable in both strategic and hands-on delivery roles
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building and growing a function
