️ Head of Training & Skills Development – Construction Sector | £70k + Bonus + EV Package

Location: Hybrid (Home-based with travel to Midlands HQ)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Package: Up to £80,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits Package

A well-established, values-driven organisation is looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Training & Skills Development to take the reins of its nationwide training offer across construction and roofing. If you're passionate about education, workforce development, and delivering real social impact, this could be your next big career move.

What You'll Lead:

  • The creation and execution of a long-term training and skills roadmap
  • Development of cutting-edge programmes aligned with evolving sector needs
  • Collaborative engagement with industry partners, funders, and awarding bodies
  • Oversight of teaching quality, learner success, and compliance standards
  • Management of internal teams, resources, and training centre operations
  • Hands-on contribution to apprenticeship and vocational qualification delivery

What You’ll Bring:

  • Extensive experience in construction-based education or training leadership
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Ofsted, ESFA)
  • Certified teaching and assessment credentials (CertEd/PGCE, CAVA, IQA)
  • A track record of delivering impactful learning and skills programmes
  • Vision, energy, and the ability to build strong partnerships across the sector
