We are now seeking a Head of Training and Consultancy to join the Relate team on a full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

The Role

As the Head of Training and Consultancy, you will elevate and deliver our programme of training and consultancy services, shaping how relationship and psychosexual therapy is taught and practised.

Specifically, you’ll lead the design and delivery of the portfolio of accredited and bespoke services, utilising cutting-edge tech, methodologies and models, and collaborating with accredited bodies, academic institutions and thought leaders to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

Executing our strategic vision, you will lead on all areas of design, development and delivery and ensure that our programmes meet accredited standards. You’ll use data, learner feedback and market insight to drive improvement and represent our organisation at national forums, conferences and events to promote the training offering.

Additionally, you’ll line manage a team of training managers and administrators, supporting and enabling their work whilst providing the direction they need. You will create an environment of collaboration and a culture of excellence and growth.

About You
  • A strong track record in designing and delivering accredited or commercial training programmes
  • A deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and quality assurance in professional education
  • Commercial mindset with experience in budget management, pricing strategy, and programme growth
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and experience working with academic institutions and professional bodies
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
  • A master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Learning & Development, Counselling, Psychotherapy), ideally, a PhD/DPsych
