We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Technology & Innovation to lead the tech strategy across live events, venues, and internal operations. This is a pivotal role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, ensuring our technology infrastructure and innovation projects scale with their ambitious growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of strategic technology initiatives including forecasting tools, real-time sales dashboards and AI-driven data analytics.
- Pro-actively drive forward new event technology such as frictionless bars and beer walls.
- Build business cases and ROI models for new technology projects and present to the Board.
- Manage Peppermint\'s fleet of 1000+ EPOS terminals across events and venues.
- Oversee hardware lifecycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Liaise with EPOS and payment providers to ensure seamless transactions and uptime.
- Evaluate and implement emerging payment technologies.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of EPOS systems, payment technologies, and hardware deployment.
- Proven experience in IT leadership ideally within events, hospitality, or retail.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms and AI applications.
- Experience managing outsourced IT providers and internal tech teams.
