Head of Technology, Greater Manchester/Hybrid (Hyper Growth ecommerce)

Truly exciting opportunity for a Head of Technology to join a hyper growth ecommerce business that’s just recently launched in Manchester with tremendous financial backing!

As Head of Technology you’d be responsible for leading 3 cross functional product teams in a DevOps environment where they use a breadth of technologies including .NET Core, PHP, Vue.js & whole host of AWS tech.

Initially your teams would be responsible for enhancements and new feature development to existing platforms, before migration and then greenfield work to build their new ecommerce platform from the ground up.

The plans for growth are ambitious so there is opportunity for progression to Tech Director in future and there is a real buzz about the business on how they are going to take this new platform to the next level; it’s really a great opportunity to be a part of something innovative. They are looking for people the challenge the strategy, work with a fail fast approach to see the value in learning so they can celebrate the failures and the successes.

In terms of package, they are looking for the right person so this is negotiable to an extent but in addition to this they are offering an incredible package of 15% bonus, 11% company pension contribution, £800 personal L&D budget yearly & the opportunity to work mostly remote; there will be some requirement to meet in Greater Manchester.
