Job summary

SES is seeking an ambitious Regional Technical Director to lead the technical function across the Central region, driving excellence in engineering, design, innovation and technical assurance. You will head a multidisciplinary team and influence strategy, governance and work-winning capability.

As a key member of the regional leadership team, you will shape strategy, manage technical risk and deliver best-value solutions for clients, while developing the region's technical capability and market

Qualifications

Senior-level experience in technical, design or engineering leadership.
Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing executives.
Knowledge of design management, engineering principles and relevant regulations.
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional design and technical strategies aligned with objectives.
Lead regional technical, digital engineering and sustainability teams.
Provide independent technical governance across bids and projects.
Collaborate to develop innovative solutions and work-winning strategies.
Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act, CDM and SES framework.
Oversee selection of consultants and ensure value delivery.
Build relationships with customers, consultants, and supply chain partners.
Identify risks and opportunities to improve performance and innovation.
