Specialising in UPVC & Granulation

Are you a seasoned technical leader with deep expertise in UPVC manufacturing and granulation processes? This is a unique opportunity to take charge of the technical function at a market-leading manufacturer in County Antrim, where your specialist knowledge will directly drive product innovation, quality, and efficiency.

The Role:
As Head of Technical, you'll lead all aspects of product development and process improvement, with a strong focus on UPVC material performance and granulation quality.

• Oversee the development and enhancement of UPVC-based product lines.
• Lead process optimisation with particular attention to UPVC granulation and reprocessing.
• Conduct feasibility and ROI assessments on new technologies, equipment, and projects.
• Ensure full compliance with industry standards, certifications, and building regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste and enhancing efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across production, R&D, and quality teams.
• Manage and maintain accurate technical documentation and design specifications.
• Keep pace with technical advancements in UPVC processing and material recycling.

What You'll Need:
Proven background in UPVC manufacturing and granulation - this experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of plastics processing, including thermal and structural performance.
Track record in leading product design and development within a manufacturing setting.
Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks 3D) and simulation software.
Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance standards for building products.
Confident in managing technical teams and delivering cross-functional projects.
