Job Description:

We are seeking a senior systems engineering expert to lead on some of the UK’s most complex defence projects. The successful candidate will oversee a team of engineers, setting strategic direction, developing capabilities, and ensuring high-quality delivery across technical projects including requirements management, systems architecture, integrated logistics, and MBSE.

This role involves collaboration across departments to shape strategy, support business development, mentor staff, and lead technical delivery.

What You’ll Bring:

• Extensive experience in systems engineering, ILS, MBSE, and governance
• Knowledge of UK MOD acquisition processes (URDs, SRDs, CONUSE, ITEAP, etc.)
• Familiarity with tools like DOORS or Dimensions RM
• Experience working within the UK public sector, especially defence
• Collaborative, flexible, and hands-on leadership style
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills
