Overall Purpose of Role

To create and lead a team of technical experts supporting innovation, client engagement, and best practices in sustainable and transition finance, aligning with Barclays' target to facilitate $1 trillion in financing by 2030.

Key Accountabilities

1. Drive growth of sustainable finance across Banking and Markets.
2. Partner with teams to develop client propositions and ecosystems, supporting origination and execution of mandates.
3. Maintain expertise in market practices, trends, and technologies; deepen client relationships and collaborate with external stakeholders.
4. Build and lead a team of specialists in areas like Nature-based solutions, Green Hydrogen, CCUS, and Carbon Accounting.
5. Act as a member of the Sustainable Finance Management Team and enterprise leader.
6. Support internal training and development initiatives.
