Job summary

An international manufacturing business in Northampton is seeking a Head of Sustainability to lead the sustainability function, implement the strategy, oversee ESG reporting and drive decarbonisation.

You will report into the operations executive committee and focus on building sustainability best practices, KPIs, and social value initiatives across the organisation. Hybrid work available with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sustainability roles within chemicals, FMCG, manufacturing or pharma.
• Sustainability strategy experience with embedding and driving continual improvement.
• Experience delivering Scope 3 targets with procurement.
• Strong stakeholder management across departments.
• Data analysis and reporting of ESG indicators and annual ESG reports.
• Experience with Social Value / Social Impact / Community or Health & Wellness projects.
• Passion for sustainability and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Sustainability & ESG strategy.
• Report to leadership and provide progress updates as a trusted advisor.
• Manage ESG reporting, carbon emissions, energy usage and ESG KPI tracking.
• Lead CSR and social impact campaigns and charitable initiatives.
• Embed ESG strategy across the business and raise sustainability awareness.
• Collaborate with procurement, R&D and EHS to maximise sustainability progress.
