A leading provider of supported housing in the UK are seeking a Head of Support to join their Senior Management Team. This pivotal role provides operational oversight of tenant support and engagement services, focusing on empowering and enhancing resident wellbeing through collaborative, person-centred approaches. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving their mission to foster inclusive communities and improve tenancy sustainment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management to the Support Team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred services and active tenant engagement.
  • Implement strategic objectives that align with organisational goals, monitor progress, and present detailed reports on key performance indicators.
  • Act as the Safeguarding Lead and deputise for the Director of Support and Tenant Engagement as required.
  • Manage relationships with other agencies, including housing, health, and social care professionals, to enhance service provision.
  • Ensure compliance with equality and diversity principles in service delivery, and involve beneficiaries in the design, delivery, and monitoring of services.
  • Manage financial aspects of the support services, including budget setting and control, and provide data for grants and reports.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience in managing and leading Support Services at a senior level, preferably working with adults in vulnerable situations.
  • Proven track record in staff management, performance monitoring, and financial oversight.
  • Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks related to housing and support services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with safeguarding responsibilities and acting as a Safeguarding Lead.
  • Knowledge of the issues facing the ex-Service community is highly desirable.
