This includes defining key deliverables, establishing an efficient organizational structure, and setting up collaboration agreements. A core pillar of our strategy is to elevate the Service Business Unit by leveraging advanced procurement processes, cutting-edge tools, and a team of highly skilled supply chain professionals. This strategic approach supports both organic and inorganic growth, enabling Service to scale rapidly and sustainably.

How you will make an impact
  • Make Safety, Integrity and Quality: the 'license to operate' for our suppliers and partners by diligently driving awareness and compliance by improving processes, such as contractor/supplier qualification, tools, training and reporting.
  • Maximizing Competitiveness and Value Creation: securing favorable business terms from the supply base while complying with Hitachi Energy’s General Terms and Conditions.
  • Strengthening Resilience and Agility: removing supply chain bottlenecks and mitigating risks proactively by enhancing the ability to adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of adversity or change.
  • Building Partnership Ecosystems: intensifying the relationships with internal and external suppliers to support future growth and capture innovations, while making use of the power of the Hitachi Group as a whole.
  • Progressing Sustainability: proactively addressing regulations and committing to responsible sourcing, carbon reduction, circular economy and biodiversity by improving our own processes and those of our partners.
  • Endorsing Inclusiveness and Competence: promoting collaboration, diversity of thoughts and lifelong learning in an open-minded and inclusive environment within the entire Supply Chain community.
  • Driving Innovation and Digitalization: by utilizing best-in-class technology that allows for highly automated operations and data-driven, forward-looking decisions.
  • Improving Visibility and Performance: evaluating the performance of the supply chain, considering factors like sustainability, quality, financial and operational performance.
