Job summary

ITV Studios is seeking a Head of Engineering, Studios Technology, reporting to the Director of Technology, to provide senior technical and people leadership across the Studios Technology engineering landscape.

The role is responsible for setting engineering direction, building strong engineering capability, and ensuring technology solutions are scalable, secure, resilient and aligned to ITV Studios' creative, operational and commercial ambitions.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership experience in a complex tech/media/enterprise environment.
• Strong background in modern software engineering, cloud, APIs, data, automation, infra, platform engineering and AI.
• Experience leading teams through delivery, growth and coaching.
• Deep understanding of architecture, scalable design, performance and DevOps practices.
• Experience shaping technical roadmaps balancing business value and maintainability.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience with engineering governance and design/review processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management with Product, Delivery and Architecture.
