Qualifications

  • A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and Chartered status (CEng) with a relevant professional body (e.g. ICE, IStructE).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and modern construction methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver outstanding service.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in business development and an understanding of commercial project management.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and design tools.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and exceptional service delivery.

  • Review and approve technical designs, reports, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including bidding for new projects and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project schedules to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in structural engineering and incorporate new technologies and techniques into the team’s practice.
