Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Strategy & Planning to lead the establishment and running of Trustwide planning processes and shape the delivery of the Making a Difference 2026-2029 Strategy.

You will work with senior leaders to develop robust planning and monitoring, link horizon scanning to local priorities, and build capability for integrated planning across directorates and Care Groups to drive delivery and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience of leading strategic planning in a health or public sector setting.
• Ability to coordinate cross-organisational planning and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Establish and run Trustwide Business Planning/Operational Planning processes and outputs.
• Oversee monitoring of progress towards the implementation of the Trust Strategy.
• Develop and implement a robust planning framework linking horizon scanning, priorities, partnerships and opportunities.
• Coordinate development of Trust wide plans to support Strategy implementation and monitoring framework.
• Develop capability and skills for integrated planning across directorates, divisions and the Trust level.
• Coordinate with Deputy Director of Strategy & Partnerships and senior colleagues to drive planning and delivery.
