Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust in Poole is seeking a Head of Strategic Implementation, Insight & Portfolio Management to lead the transformation and delivery of strategic priorities. You will shape the Integrated Health Organisation proposition and oversee the Transformation Management Office, driving governance, benefits realisation and performance across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience translating strategy into coherent and measurable implementation programmes.
• Significant senior experience leading complex strategic implementation portfolios through a portfolio management office or equivalent.
• Experience developing major propositions, operating models, investment cases or cases for change.
• Experience in strategic evaluation, business analysis, option appraisal and development of evidence-based recommendations for executive decisions.
• Experience establishing strategic outcome, benefits and performance frameworks across complex portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead translation of the Federation's strategy into a coherent, prioritised programme of implementation.
• Lead development of the Integrated Health Organisation proposition and associated strategic, operational and financial case for change.
• Lead the Transformation Management Office and portfolio management function, ensuring alignment with priorities and outcomes.
• Oversee portfolio governance, gateway reviews, benefits realisation, outcomes monitoring and evaluation; provide expert advice to governance forums.
• Develop long-term transformation and performance strategies aligned with NHS priorities and the Trust's objectives.
• Provide leadership to senior managers and specialist leads within the division.
