Job summary

Hireful Ltd on behalf of a housing group in Kent is seeking a dynamic procurement leader to drive value, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

You will head the procurement function, manage a team of four, and own the procurement and insurance strategies, ensuring value for money and compliance with the Procurement Regulations 2024. The role offers some home working with HQ in Chatham.

Qualifications

• MCIPS qualification (full or part).
• Proven leadership in public or regulated procurement.
• Strong analytical capabilities and knowledge of Procurement Regulations 2024.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to motivate teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement, insurance, and contract management strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports.
• Present tender and procurement strategies to leadership and Board.
• Oversee purchase-to-pay, internal controls, and procurement training.
• Drive service improvements, issue resolution, and continuous learning.
