Job summary

A leading global not-for-profit organisation is seeking an experienced consultant as Head of Strategic Partnerships. This fully remote consultancy role focuses on building high-value partnerships in UK education and international development. Ideal candidates have proven experience in strategic partnership roles, exceptional negotiation skills, and knowledge of the MENA region is a plus. Head of Strategic Partnerships

Consultancy - 4 to 6 months (UK - Fully remote)

Confidential Client of The PIE

A leading global not-for-profit organisation working to improve education and skills is seeking an experienced consultant to lead the development and activation of strategic partnerships. The consultancy will focus primarily on the UK education and international development sectors, with experience in the MENA region considered an advantage.

About the role

This consultancy will focus on identifying, cultivating, and managing high-value partnerships with a range of organisations to support the client’s growth and programme delivery goals. The successful candidate will design partnership frameworks, lead collaborative initiatives, and build internal tools to ensure sustainable engagement beyond the consultancy period.

Key responsibilities

·Develop and implement a strategic partnerships roadmap aligned with organisational priorities

·Identify and qualify partnership opportunities across sectors

·Lead engagement and pilot partnership projects

·Create tools and processes to support ongoing partnership management

What we’re looking for

·Proven experience in senior strategic partnership or business development roles, ideally within education, international development, or NGO sectors

·Strong relationship-building, negotiation skills, and ability to work independently

·Experience or knowledge of the MENA region is highly desirable

Details

·Consultancy duration: 4 to 6 months, with possibility of extension

·Time commitment: up to 12-14 days per month (flexible)

·Location: Fully remote, with flexibility for occasional travel to the client’s UK office or nearby locations as needed
