Job description

Are you a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher seeking an exciting leadership role? Our secondary school in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated Head of Spanish to join our team and lead the teaching of Spanish across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

This temporary post will commence in January 2025 and is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and shape the future of language learning in our school.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Teach Spanish to students from KS3 to KS5, ensuring engaging and effective lessons that meet the curriculum.
  2. Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons, including assessment and marking.
  3. Support and lead the development of the Spanish department, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Requirements

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.
  2. A strong track record of delivering successful lessons and achieving positive outcomes for students.
  3. Leadership experience or the desire to take on a leadership role.
