King Edward’s School, Bath is seeking to appoint an inspiring Head of Spanish to join our Modern Languages Faculty on a permanent basis. The role involves teaching from Year 7 to A-Level, leading the Spanish department, and contributing to pastoral and co-curricular life.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and QTS, with a proven track record in teaching Spanish and curriculum leadership. Interviews are likely on Thursday 26 November.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and academic leadership for Spanish across the School.
• Deliver inspiring, high-quality Spanish teaching from KS3 to A-level.
• Develop the curriculum, schemes of work, assessment practices.
• Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate challenge and support.
• Lead, support and develop departmental staff, promoting collaboration.
• Manage departmental administration, resources and budgets.
• Organise and promote enrichment opportunities, clubs and trips.
• Work closely with the Head of Modern Languages, senior leaders and parents.
