How you’ll make an impact

The Head of Solutions Consulting is a key leadership role on the UK Sales leadership team. You will be responsible for driving deployment of our existing partner base in the UK, specifically pre and post sales solutions consulting and implementation to support partners on their journey to becoming a digital accounting or bookkeeping practice. You’ll develop the UK solutions consulting strategy and embed sales motions to enable our partners to maximize their workflows into Xero, supporting the sales team in onboarding more clients to the platform.

You will have exceptional leadership skills and will define, build, and grow a successful Solutions Consulting function within the UK. You’ll provide strategic input to the UK Sales team and act as a conduit for feedback to the GTM and Product teams through the Sales Director. This is a high-impact role where you will lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious targets and foster strong, lasting relationships. You will also represent the UK Solutions Consulting function in global contacts to ensure alignment of strategies and execution.

What you’ll do
  1. Ownership of the UK consulting & implementation strategy, revenue targets, processes, and procedures.
  2. Execute strategies to streamline implementation of Practice products for fast deployment and onboarding of Xero practice tools through self-implementation and supported implementations.
  3. Represent the UK Solutions Consulting function in global contacts to ensure alignment of strategies and execution.
  4. Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team.
  5. Develop a succession plan for hiring and developing new talent.
  6. Explore and define strategies for Demo Automation and Intelligence solutions to improve demonstration delivery.
  7. Set clear goals and expectations, providing ongoing performance feedback.
  8. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success.
  9. Drive collaboration with other Xero functions such as Product, Marketing, and Education.
  10. Stay ahead of industry trends and the competitive landscape, keeping stakeholders informed of developments and opportunities.
  11. Provide insights and recommendations for regional and global consulting strategies.
