Express Recruitment is working with a longstanding software company in Nottingham seeking a Head of Software Engineering. The role involves leading a team of up to 15 Software Engineers while managing global software development projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Software Engineering or similar field.
• Demonstratable proficiency in either C/C++, C# .NET, or VB.NET.
• Proficient user of SQL Servers for database optimisations.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of Software Developers.
• Passionate about embracing emerging software technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and coach a team of up to 15 Software Engineers.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
• Chair software code review meetings and ensure code quality.
• Provide hands-on software development support when required.
• Collaborate with the VP and Technical Product Director on recruitment.
