Ernesford Grange Community Academy in Coventry is seeking a dynamic Head of Sociology. You will lead the department with strategic vision, uphold high pedagogical standards, and ensure an outstanding experience for all students.

The role includes carrying out duties of a subject teacher as outlined in the Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document. You will mentor colleagues, lead curriculum design, and drive improvements across KS3/KS4 and KS5 where applicable to meet National Curriculum

Qualificações

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Evidence of ongoing professional leadership development (e.g., NPQLTD, NPQSL).
• Experience designing curriculum across KS3/KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
• Experience mentoring colleagues to improve teaching and learning.
