Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be working with a growing consumer goods organisation that is transitioning from a consumer product brand to a consumer lifestyle brand. Nigel Wright is leading the search for a newly created Head of Social Media role for the EMEA region. The role will sit on the marketing leadership team and will report to the EMEA Marketing Director as one of four Heads of department.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to help shape the journey of a multinational consumer brand in its journey to becoming an iconic lifestyle brand which will truly differentiate it from its competitors across EMEA. The individual could be based in one of three locations: North East England, West of Copenhagen in Denmark, or Breda in the Netherlands.

Role Profile:

• Overarching responsibility for social media strategy across multiple brands, including four core strategic brands owned directly by the company.
• Content planning and performance analysis.
• Paid media oversight.
• Community management and engagement.
• Trend and platform innovation - staying ahead of emerging trends, algorithms, and platform updates.
• Effective cross-functional engagement and influencing with brand, content, and creative teams to ensure a cohesive storytelling approach across all social platforms.
• Analytics and performance tracking.
• Leading a team spread across multiple remote locations in Europe.

Person Specification:

• A strong track record in a senior social media leadership role across EMEA, managing both organic and paid strategies.
• A strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, content formats, and audience engagement strategies.
• Experience managing and growing high-performance teams in a multi-brand, pan-European environment.
• Expertise in paid media planning and execution.
• A data-driven approach to content performance and optimization.
• Potential locations include the UK (North East England), Denmark (Copenhagen), or the Netherlands (Breda).
