Job summary

Thales Alenia Space UK in Oxfordshire requires a Head of Sites and Security to lead site operations, HSE and security for Harwell real estate and TAS UK. You will manage daily facilities, oversee budgets, and drive robust risk and continuity plans.

You will coordinate external providers, ensure compliance with UK security clearances, and work with Thales Security to safeguard employees and assets across the integrated real estate footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, site operations or security.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and risk assessment practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of Office Space, Labs, Storage and Kitchen areas.
• Coordinate facilities providers and contractors to meet scope, cost and quality targets.
• Communicate site health, safety and security information to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security legislation and policies.
• Lead business continuity planning and maintain site resilience.
• Vet new staff for security clearance and manage records accordingly.
• Oversee physical security standards and access control systems.
