Job description

There is an exciting opportunity within Children Social Care to join the senior management team as Head of Service for Care and Support.

About the Role

Children’s Social Care has been on an improvement journey for the past few years. Following a successful inspection in June 2022, we are seeking a Head of Service to support our next phase of development.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with proven leadership qualities to be an integral member of the Senior Management Team. This role is vital in supporting service development and driving improvements.

The Head of Service for Care and Support has key technical responsibilities for our front door services, supporting three key social work teams and leading on our legal gateway.

You may also be eligible for a relocation package of up to £5,000.
