An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our senior leadership team in Adult Social Care in Doncaster. As Head of Service for Future Options, you will lead services in Doncaster that focus on supporting people with a Learning Disability and/or mental health needs to live in a place they call home, with the people and things they love, doing things that matter to them.
As Head of Service for Future Options, you will be responsible for leading a range of services including our Community Adult Learning Disability Team, Mental Health Social Work Team, Approved Mental Health Professional Team (including our Out of Hours Service), and a range of in-house Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered direct care services supporting people with a learning disability.
This is a pivotal time to work in social care as we continue to develop services for the benefit of local people. You will work closely with senior officers both internally and externally to shape the Future Options Services and wider community support, making a tangible difference in the lives of local residents. Our practice framework and ‘Making it Real’ foundations will be central to your values, knowledge, and approach.

All our services are closely linked and integrated with NHS partners, making joint working essential. You will need well-developed relationship skills and experience leading integrated services when working with a range of partners.
