Job description

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Commissioning Officer within the Children’s Services to work full time based in Haringey.

The salary for this permanent Commissioning Officer role is up to £37,038 per annum.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing and executing specific projects to attain commissioning goals.
2. Collaborating with colleagues and partners to ensure the services commissioned are of high quality, cost-effective, and yield positive outcomes.
3. Assisting in service enhancement and cost reduction by contributing to vital projects.
4. Composing, formulating, and updating essential documents such as Service Specifications, Contracts, and Individual Placement Agreements, with proper filing.
5. Monitoring and evaluating contracts and processes to ensure smooth operations.
6. Preparing detailed reports to support senior managers in decision-making and resource management.
7. Establishing strong partnerships with stakeholders to facilitate seamless collaboration in service delivery.

Requirements:

• Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
• Experience in community and/or group work.
• Knowledge of children’s health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
