The Role

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Head of SEO to lead and scale our organic growth efforts. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy that boosts visibility, drives qualified traffic, and increases conversions across all digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead a Technical SEO specialist, and ensure best practices are embedded into all aspects of site and content development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a long-term SEO strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive organic growth through technical and content-based optimisation.
• Manage and mentor an SEO Specialist
• Collaborate cross-functionally with content, design, development, and marketing teams.
• Report accurate performance insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Senior Leadership.
• Use technology and AI tools to enhance efficiency and impact.
• Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and social media best practices.
• Oversee keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance audits.
• Manage SEO budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Lead link-building, site migrations, and optimisation of key landing pages.

What we are looking for

• Widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading SEO professionals, with a proven track record of delivering measurable, high-impact results in a senior role
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset with a hands‑on, data‑driven approach.
• Deep understanding of technical, on‑page, and off‑page SEO.
• Proficient in industry tools (e.g., SEMrush).
• Familiar with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms
• Excellent communication, presentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
