Role Summary

This role will be as Head of Senior Relationship Management for the EMEA region and will be responsible for managing the team of Senior Relationship Managers across Europe and the Middle East within the Marex Clearing Services division, as well as managing the highest profile clients within the division.

The focus of the role will be to oversee the team that will support the top tier clients ensuring a premium service is provided both in terms of day-to-day support but also sharing information relating to additional Marex product & service offerings with a focus on strengthening and growing the relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a team of Senior Account Managers to ensure a standardised premium level of service is in place for the top tier Clearing customers
  • Responsibility for managing the highest profile EMEA accounts within the Clearing division
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Marex and market products and services, and ensure the team is cross selling to maximise client revenue from those tier one customers
  • Oversee and manage the returns for clients supported by the Relationship Management team. Ensure budgets are met via organic growth and cross sell opportunities
  • Provide Clearing Services Management group with KPI’s across the top tier clients
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is achieved and meet business targets
  • Senior point person to coordinate with Global Sales team
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements across all appropriate regulatory bodies
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
  • At all times complying with the FCA’s and Marex’s Code of Conduct
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
  • To escalate risk events immediately
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years* of Managerial experience
  • Strong Sales knowledge/background, 10+ years’ experience
  • 10+ years* experience in Financial and commodity markets (including oil, gas and power), specifically in the Clearing sector
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
