Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the identification, assessment and provision for SEND students
Lead the EHCP process and liaise with families and external agencies
Coordinate in-class and targeted interventions across subjects
Train and support teaching and support staff in best SEND practice
Be a visible and proactive member of the safeguarding and wellbeing team
Essential Requirements:
QTS and National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete it)
Experience supporting students with a range of additional needs
Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive pedagogy
Excellent communication, leadership, and administrative skills
Enhanced DBS check required
