Job summary

CALDECOTT FOUNDATION LIMITED is seeking a Head of School (Secondary) to lead and shape secondary provision, ensuring high pupil progress and strong teaching standards. You will coordinate the Secondary School, support staff, and drive curriculum initiatives while liaising with the local community and agencies.

The post is a senior leadership role, accountable to the Head teacher. The role requires strategic leadership, robust management of day-to-day operations, and a commitment to school

Qualifications

• Senior leadership position within the school's Leadership Group.
• Accountable to the Head teacher.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example as a teacher and manager to achieve high pupil progress, behaviour and motivation.
• Co-ordinate and evaluate the work of the Secondary School and support colleagues.
• Oversee curriculum development and implementation across the secondary provision.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning standards within the secondary school.
• Organise day-to-day procedures to ensure smooth running of the secondary school.
• Lead and monitor pupil transitions in line with school policy.
• Liaise with the local community, residential homes and external agencies.
