Job summary

George Abbot School in Guildford is seeking a proactive Head of Premises to oversee the large school estate. You will lead a team of 3 site staff, work with the Headteacher and Finance team, and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for students.

You will manage health and safety across the site, develop and review estates maintenance plans, oversee contractors and capital projects, and ensure compliant operations of buildings, grounds and equipment.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures across a large site.
• Experience managing a small on-site team and contractors.
• Ability to develop estates maintenance plans and monitor capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the school's estate and ensure a safe, well maintained environment.
• Lead the site team of 3 staff and coordinate with the Finance team.
